This retired client built a successful career in the bedding industry, before recently deciding to reemerge into the industry with her own company. For the grand opening of her new Las Vegas bedding showroom, our team took her goals for a functional yet artistic showroom and created a space themed around the idea, “from darkness to light.” The showroom was designed to move clients through darker, moodier areas into bright, airy spaces. Incorporating the client’s femininity and high-end taste into this space, as well as her goals to create margin and secondary spaces, were our key objectives for this experiential showroom. Starting with darker textiles, a gilded armour, and rich floral prints, the entrance of the showroom emphasized our client’s romantic style. As the space progressed, finishes and textiles became lighter and warmer. Durable, rich textiles added to the high-end feel. Conference rooms, seating, and a cafe aided in functionality. Over-sized iron poster canopies and warm, wood-toned encasements elevated our clients bedding displays as a focal feature in her multi-functional and innovative showroom space.
