Amwins developed their their first Service Center located in Charlotte, NC with the goal of creating a workplace environment that connected the community through culture and brand. An Interior Culture Loop forms the space’s central anchor and creates congregation within the community. Here, the team member can take a moment away from the day’s workflow and refresh their minds in a variety of café-style seating and cozy banquettes.

Emphasizing on connecting the community, Amwins goal was to create a new workplace that would generate an experience for both employees and visitors alike. Collaborative and flexible spaces are designed throughout the floorplate to foster teamwork and support a variety of meetings. Supported by collaborative furniture, organic conversations and one-on-one interaction have the opportunity to occur more frequently throughout the workday.

Creating a work environment that departed from every day by breaking the structure to encourage a dynamic and transformative workplace was the inspiration and concept for the Amwins Service Center. The interior colors and finishes throughout the space not only serve as a wayfinding guide but helped to create a bright and colorful space for employees. Natural lighting, materials, and fabrics were selected for the interior design and furniture for this corporate workplace. Secondary brand colors of orange and teal add a splash of color throughout the space.
