This law firm is a leader in law practice and in providing sustainable law offices, commissioning the first LEED certified law firm in the state.  The primary goals for this national law firms newly opened (seventh) 18,000 sq ft office, located in the heart of a downtown business district, was to plan for long term growth, reinforce their brand, attract and retain the best staff, and provide a healthy quality workplace for their employees and visiting clientele.  After assessing multiple buildings within the downtown area, the firm signed a long term lease in a building that achieved LEED-EB Gold Certification, and the law firm project team was able to achieve LEED-CI Gold certification

Key Sustainable features include:  open daylight views from all points in the office; energy efficient equipment; low consumption water fixtures; recycled/recyclable materials; rapidly renewable materials including wood doors made with an agrifiber core and bamboo veneer; and low-emitting materials such as paint and adhesives.
